Came for an oil change and to get some work done on an aging custom exhaust. The oil change was fast and pricing was average for BMWs. Was a bit surprised to find out they only install bolt on exhaust systems. They were unable to do any custom weld or tubing work. Just keep that in mind when trying to find the right shop. It wasn’t made clear on their website or when scheduling the maintenance. Ended up getting the custom work done at a nearby shop as there are almost no reasonable bolt on kits for my e89 z4.

My 2011 BMW 328i convertible broke down on the side of the road. I read the error and described the symptoms to the tech at Motor Works West. He was able to troubleshoot a bit over the phone, and recommended having the car towed to his shop. I used my State Farm Roadside assistance to have it towed. Later that day, he called me with the estimate and diagnosis. The next day they fixed the car with the new water pump and thermostat, and wanted to test drive to ensure everything was good. I picked up the car, which was in the back parking lot, and it started perfectly and drives great. If you’re looking for highly knowledgeable BMW experts, this is the place. I own two BMW’s and this is now my go to mechanic.
