Battery and low voltage issues caused our 2009 BMW 335i to go into limp mode. Steve and his team quickly traced the problem back to corrosion in the DME. Steve replaced the DME and brought someone in to reinstall the software. Car ran fine at first but then started throwing codes. Steve and his guys know the N94 engine very well and noticed coolant wicking up from the water pump through the sensor back into the DME. Had to then replace the water pump, which was a costly repair. The car is now running great, but it did cost almost $3900. Despite the unexpected cost, I would go back to Motor Works because of their expertise and knowledge of the N94 engine.

I’ve been using Motor Works West for years for several BMWs. They are always honest and never upsell anything that’s not necessary. They discuss all of my car’s maintenance needs and repairs with me extensively so I can always make an informed decision. Excellent customer care, always! I’d never take my BMW anywhere else!

Motor Works West was able to do what no one else could. They were able to obtain the special parts needed for my BMW within a few days and I had my car back in a very short time in perfect condition.
