Artur let’s put all the information out here. You brought us your car that you tried to fix yourself before bringing it to us. You installed aftermarket Vanos units and timed the vehicle 180 Degree off. you also broke your valve cover bolts into your cyl head. we charged you to diagnose your vehicle. when we gave you the information on what the repairs next step would be, you told me you do not want to proceed with the correct repair. You asked us to repair the broken valve cover bolt and time the engine correctly. I informed you that we can do that, but we will not know if there is damage from the engine being timed incorrectly. I also told you that we need to put correct parts in the vehicle and the only additional cost would be the cost of the correct parts. (We were not charging any additional labor to replace the bad parts that you put in). You informed me that you did not want to invest any more money into the vehicle and if retiming the vehicle does not work you were going to sell the vehicle. We also had you sign off that you wanted us to only retime the vehicle and not replace the correct parts. You also signed off on, that retiming the vehicle is not a definite fix and that we do not hold any responsibility if the vehicle is not fixed after putting the vehicle back together. As far as your transmission goes, we did not touch your transmission during the repair, and you also told us that the shop that had the vehicle before us, was messing around with the transmission. Your transmission is leaking. You did not go with the recommended repair and signed off on that you where not fixing the vehicle correctly. How do expect us to give you the car back running better if you didn’t move forward with the repair we recommended.
